3rd Elephant – Minnesota’s premier instrumental trio along with special guests Laura MacKenzie & Dan Newton are coming to the Music Factory! 3rd Elephant is planning a trip to the North Sea this Christmas! With our good friend and experienced tour guide, Laura MacKenzie, we’ll be steering into music from Sweden, Finland, Scotland, France, Wales, and, of course, the North Pole. Our good friend and Prairie Home Companion alumni, Dan “Daddy Squeeze” Newton will also be hoping aboard to add to the joy! Please join in the rollicking time we as we avail ourselves of mandolins, fiddles, a cello, an accordion, some concertinas, and various wooden flutes, whistles and pipes to conjure up a most fantastic North Sea soundscape! Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concessions, merchandise and Mr. Chipper’s fresh-baked cookies will be available for sale during the concert.
