Celebrate the arrival of summer with a weekend of hands-on creativity at the Bealtaine Folk Art Weekend, a collaboration between Folklore Village and the Celtic Junction Arts Center. Explore the Celtic and Scandinavian roots of traditional folk art through two immersive workshops: Celtic knot embroidery with Kelli Emerson and kolrosing (Scandinavian wood-carving) with Darlene Fossum- Martin. Held over three days with small class sizes and expert instruction, this special event is part of Irish Arts Week and invites participants to slow down, connect, and create.
