Music and Dancing!
CANADIAN HOUR, 6-7pm: Suzanne and Dave start things off and will focus on Canadian tunes and songs: French-Canadian, Métis, Acadian, Gaspésienne, PEI, Newfoundland, and Canadian “Old Time” (it’s a big country, both geographically and musically!). This will be a regular feature at future ceilidh’s!
CEILIDH DANCE, 7-9pm: We will be joined by the incomparable Barry Foy on fiddle (sadly, my hand issues don’t allow me to play a whole dance☹️ but believe me, Barry is a step up!). The fabulous Mattie Rynkiewicz will be subbing on piano (Sean Egan is out with an arm injury😦 — get well soon, Sean!). Come dance! Dances will be taught. Or just watch and imbibe…..
Hope to see you!
