Join us for the annual Center for Irish Music’s Youth Ensemble Concert, featuring award-winning musicians from our Advanced Youth Ensemble, with sets by the Swallowtail and Starling Ensembles. Celebrate the beauty and variety that Irish traditional music offers including solos, duets and trios and large ensemble arrangements of reels, jigs, polkas and airs on fiddles, flutes, banjo, guitar, piano, harp and more. Corncrake Ensemble will open the event at 1:40pm with a lobby performance and the Redwing Ensemble will play in the intermission while refreshments are served.
