With roots in the traditional dances of France’s diverse regions, bal folk includes easy dances from all over the country – and a few imports as well! In this series of three monthly events, each night will begin with a workshop focused on a particular region followed by a bal with live music. Bob Walser will lead the dances and join Dan Newton, The BreTones (including Laura MacKenzie, Tom Klein) and others in providing the music.
