Lunasa Céilí Dance

Come join us for a céilí dance to celebrate Lunasa and to have fun. This event is open to anyone regardless of skill level; we’ll teach the steps and the dances! Admission at the door will be $10 for adults and $5 for those 17 and under.
Schedule:
6:30 – 7 pm – Lesson focusing on steps and terms
7 pm – 9 pm – Dance (with teaching of the dances)

If you are unfamiliar with what céilí dancing is, it is a form of social dance that is found in Ireland (and elsewhere). It shares lineage with square dancing and barn dances found in the U.S.
