Join in the Holiday tradition of pub caroling – outdoors this time!
It’s live! It’s in person! It’s outdoors again! It’s at the mercy of the weather! The bathrooms might be closed! But we will not be stopped!
Details:
When: Sunday, Dec. 17, 2:00 until 4:00ish or we are done or cold. Start time is pretty solid, end time is a bit fluid and depends on how long folks want to continue (see weather above, see also bathroom closure above).
Location: Wabun picnic shelter D (unless someone gets there before us – there are no reservations taken in December, so, in the unlikely event shelter D is already in use, look around and listen for the singing). We could be down the hill or on the other side of the restrooms.
What: Sing carols of the season (Thanksgiving, Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year’s, Solstice, you get the idea).
How: The usual rules of the Merlin’s pub singings apply: Come prepared to sing a capella! Leaders, we want to hear your lovely voices, so please sing without amplification or instruments. Songs should be well-known or have a not-too-difficult chorus so that all can join in singing. Leading is not required: if you don’t want to lead, come to listen, to sing the choruses, or simply to enjoy the company.
Looking forward to in-person, if not indoors, pub caroling!
