Our regular annual pub caroling will be outdoors this year on December 17 at Wabun Picnic Area, so as a supplement for those who prefer not to be outdoors this time of year, our regular pub sing on December 18 will be haunted by three ghosts who… no, wait, that’s the show at the Guthrie….
It’s a pub sing. You can sing what ever song you want so long as it has a chorus or refrain we can sing along on, and doesn’t require instruments or handing out songsheets (the one exception being the closing number The King that we will put out on the tables). BUT we encourage songs for any of the various festivals and holidays that collect around the darkest time of the year like frogs at the bottom of the well. Hmm, maybe I need a better analogy.
NOTE: WE’RE PLANNING on centering the sing further back in Merlin’s main room, because acoustics. If you’re there early, please towards the back of the pub rather than the front. Thanks!
