Twinflower – Nordic Flutes

Amy Shaw and Laura MacKenzie (the duo Twinflower) will present a program of traditional Swedish music on duo wooden flutes. Chris Bashor will join on guitar for part of the program. Laura and Amy studied the traditions and music of Sweden on a fellowship grant from the American-Scandinavian Foundation in June 2023, studying with two master flute players who are reviving the historic tradition of Swedish music on wooden flutes. Free and open to all, in a lovingly restored, beautiful train depot c. 1888 in Northfield. Seating is limited!
