When the Light: How Memory and History Shape a Poem

April 20 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join award-winning Co. Galway poet and writer Geraldine Mills as she reads from “When the Light,” a collection of new and selected poetry published in 2023. As a descendant from a family who arrived in the U.S. in 1883, stayed briefly and returned to Ireland, Mills’ poetry draws from her family’s experience in search of place.
